NAEYC Accreditation helps families recognize quality early learning programs and feel comfortable knowing that their children are receiving a high-quality, research-based education that will prepare them for future success. NAEYC Accreditation offers programs access to continuous quality-improvement , the latest research on best practices, training, technical assistance, visibility on family-focused search engines (including NAEYC’s own program search database), and much more.
Level 4 – National Accreditation
Level 4 programs are the highest rated programs and have demonstrated a commitment to the highest level of professionalism in high quality child care—achievement of a nationally recognized accreditation. Level 4 programs are managed by a provider or director who has volunteered to provide mentoring to others in the field.
We are excited to offer our Spanish speaking families the opportunity to maintain and grow in their child’s Heritage language and English through our One-Way Dual Language programing offered currently at ELC Winding Ridge and ELC Brook Park. The ability to read, write, listen, and speak in both languages has proven results in the success of students educational outcomes and career path. (Each year, MSD Lawrence graduates the most students in the state of Indiana with the Certificate of Multilingual proficiency and it all begins in Preschool and Kindergarten by building a strong bi-literacyfoundation.)
The MSD of Lawrence Township is proud to participate in state programs that support access to high quality Early Childhood Programming.
